Ring A10
Ring A10
Ring A10 is a colorful book about the only Dutch highway that has been built entirely as a ring road. Discover the relationship this road has with the city it opens up. Read essays about the perception of the Ring, its history, spatial issues and its significance for traffic management. With contributions from Ton Venhoeven, Marsel Verheijde, Jacques Beljaars, Klaas van der Lee, Helga van der Haagen, Johannes Beuckens and Peter Silvis.
Intertwined with this series of essays is a series of eight walks (with walking maps) that together follow the entire route of the Ring. The inclusion of this route in the book refers to one of the most interesting finds during the research: the surprisingly large wealth of the area under, next to and along the Ring. This richness is also visualized in the three-part visual essay, by David de Jong, and the associated project overviews.
